The owner was very friendly and helpful. Prefect for hikers, including hikerbox. Thanks Michael for going the extra mile (literally) to bring us some items which we forgot. Also, clean rooms and no smell :) Overall great Motel for its price!
Very nice man runs the motel, he was polite and even gave us a candle as the power company was working overnight and power was only off for a few late night early morning hours. The rooms are clean, they are just older. Not a bug to be found on the room, the bedsheets were clean, it was quiet, and the little garden the owner is growing is cute! It may not be lakeside but it's close and has a beautiful view of the Marsh project they are doing across the street. There is shopping easily in walking distance and a bar close by too! You can't hear the bar unless you open the bathroom window and even then it's only in the bathroom. Overall 5 stars and would happily stay here again.
Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was much nicer than expected for the price point. The bed was comfortable and clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioner worked great on the two hot days that we stayed here. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cash only. Older style rooms but clean with good hot water. No ice machine but Michael was kind enough to bring some ice for us to keep our medicine cold.
$55 / night, good price. Rooms were dated, but clean. Bed was comfy, plenty-fast WiFi, hot showers w/ good water pressure. Guy who runs it was super friendly and helpful. CASH ONLY!!
Nice place to stay. Very reasonably priced and the lake is right down the road! Right next to the shopping center too (walking distance) which has everything including the DMV with the least amount of people (like 2) in California LOL!
